It is official the Shelter house is open!   As of now there are 4 boys & 10 girls we house.  

We have been spending a lot of time with all the children making sure all their needs are met.  Helping them adjust to live as a family and sleeping in beds for the 1st time is just some of the changes we have taken on.

We had an outing taking them to the mall to purchase shoes, socks & underwear. 
It was so amazing seeing them do different things for the 1st time in their life like riding in a car & on an escalator.  We also went to jollibee (kinda like our McDonalds) many had never even gone to a restaurant before and they especially loved the ice cream.  To top it off the children also had to be taught how to use the CR (bathroom) for the 1st time. 

We took throw up bags with us for the car ride not knowing who would get car sick and we praised God that no one vomited.

We are looking for sponsors for each child and if you like to sponsor a child we can message you pictures & videos of the child of your choice and even set up video chats with an interpreter so you can communicate.    

We are looking for any dollar amount per child because we do not only take care of the personal needs we also have staff and housing expenses.

Michael had the opportunity to travel on his motorbike into the mountain region to reach a remote village that is not accessible by vehicle. 
He stayed overnight sleeping on a church floor with cockroaches crawling on his face when he woke up.

There were about 150 families who came to hear God's word & view the Jesus Film.
He was up 20 hours before finally getting to sleep, slept for 4 hours then came back off the mountain.

Great News :
airlines have dropped prices so if anyone would like to come on a mission trip now is the time to start planning it.  We are bringing a team on Aug 8th with a max of 15 people. 

Prayer warriors please pray for:
1.  Everyone's health.  Heat index is so high many are suffering with headaches and other health issues.
2.  Increase in monthly supporters for all areas of ministry.

Without you we could not do all God wants us to do in the Philippines.
