Blessed day to everyone, the BIG question everyone is asking is "When are we leaving for the Philippines?" or "Are we still going?".
So to answer everyone's questions; we will be leaving for the Philippines as soon as the airlines open back up for us to go.  The president of the Philippines gives an update about every 15 days about the lock downs and what is or isn't permitted.  We are waiting patiently on that, in the mean time we know Gods timing is perfect and we put our trust in Him.  But the big answer to the question is YES we are still going.  We have Gods fire in our hearts to be missionaries there, that has not changed.  We know He has called us there!
We enjoyed visiting our families in July, during the trip we prayed about what is the next step after we get back that God would want for us while we wait to leave.  It was only a couple days after we were back from our trip that God answered our prayer.  Michael received a call from the Pastor in Missouri that had ordained him 5 yrs ago asking what we were doing and our status on leaving.  He invited us to Missouri to help in all areas of ministry the church is involved in.  We got that call on a Friday and left the next day.  Since in Missouri we for sure have been used by God.  We have had the opportunity to go door to door inviting people to a church block party where they were handing out free food, help on an assembly line bagging food for feeding programs, handing out food at feeding programs, being the armor bearer for the Pastor and his wife during the 6 church services they have weekly along with many other jobs.  It has been a great blessing being here learning so much under the Pastor and his wife and even with troubles we have encountered here like our Jeep had to have new tires then had oil leak then blew a head gasket.  But through God someone from the church provided us with a truck to use until we get moved.
We are staying involved with the ministry in the Philippines, we get daily updates and speak daily with many who have prayer requests or need someone to talk with to get encouragement.  Only about 30% of the people on our island are still working because of the strict lockdown and many people are suffering from starvation, depression and other health ailments.
If you would like to bless the people in the Philippines One Life Ministry is looking for financial support to purchase rice, and other non-perishable foods to feed the people.  The price of rice is $45 for 110 lds and the ministry would like to purchase 6 to 8 tons of rice this month.
You can give on line to Food For Life in the drop down box on the onelifemin.com web site.
Prayer warriors please pray:
1) For our travels to open so we can get to the Philippines to start helping where needed
in the ministry.
2) For the many needs of the people in the Philippines.
3) For our living expenses now and all extra expenses in our move and getting our home setup in the Philippines with the things we need to purchase for it.
We want to thank all our supporters and prayer warriors.  You are a vessel God is using in His ministry.
All of the support monies that we have raised has been put into a separate bank account we set up for us for when we get moved there.  The only monies we have used out of the money raised to date is just for our rent of our home over there.  All other is saved for when we actually get moved for our living expenses.
Every penny will be significant in the life of the people of Mindanao.
