This month was both amazing and hard but full of answered prayers.
We started the month off with our car breaking down somewhere along a mountain side on the way back from a couples gathering.
Thankfully it happened in front of a very nice man's home where we left it overnight until we could get it fixed the next day.
We had to get a radiator hose, new battery, fuel filter and 2 new tires so in all we had about $450 in unexpected costs.
But the next day we were blessed by someone with $100 we put towards the repairs.
I am now leading a weekly devotional at the ladies prayer group and very excited to see answered prayers amongst the women.
We spent about 2 full days preparing for around 40 people from church to come to our home on the 17th for our house blessing.
We had worship, prayer, anointing and laying on of hands all over our home.
It was an amazing time of fellowship with people from both church and the bible college.
The next day Michael started to get sick, feeling weak and running a temperature.
After several days we went to the medical clinic where we found out he had Dengue Fever or Dengue Dou they called it here.
Dengue Fever is known as the break-bone fever, a viral infection from a mosquito bite.
The symptoms that last about 2 weeks can be high fever, headache, body aches, nausea, rash and possible bleeding.
In severe cases dengue can be fatal.
Michael had all the symptoms but thankfully did not have the bleeding but his white blood cell count did drop to 2.0, normal being 6 to 10..
After our last letter we did receive an additional $100 in funds for Pastor Gilbert, who needs prostate surgery.
We have now raised $1150.00, he needs $2142.00, he is still trying to sell his property for funds.
He goes to the hospital every 10 days to change his catheter.
Please consider being part of helping Pastor Gilbert. We are halfway to the goal..
Prayer warriors please pray for:
1. God's guidance & provision in all we do.
2. Pastor Gilbert funds for surgery
