Greetings to all.
Finally, we now have wi-fi at our home, so I am able to get our newsletter sent out.
I have had many people ask how things are going since we moved and have lots to share.
We arrived at our new home on June 12th so the 1st part of June was preparing for the moving truck to get all our things along with Michael preaching at a Faith Tribal Ministry church.
After we arrived we hit the ground running with Agape Ministry.
With just 2 weeks of June left and boxes everywhere to unpack we still managed to do so much.
The 1st Sunday after we arrived we were blessed to hear a guest speaker Pastor Reggie Anthony, with FACC Family America Christian Church, from Georgia and visit with him.
The next 4 days we spent with the youth at an Agape Youth camp where we were elected to be the judges of different competitions they had.
It was awesome to get to meet and spend time getting to know so many of them.
The last day of the camp 22 of the youth were baptized in the river.
We traveled 3 hours to the pacific side with Pastor Philip to meet the Leaders of the Mindanao Evangelical Leaders Council, Inc, we also attended a house blessing with the core members of Agape church, attended a church Anniversary celebration, and Michael preached his 1st sermon since we partnered with Agape Ministries.
Pretty much anytime we were not doing ministry we spent at the house trying to unpack as fast as we could so we could find clothes to wear.
AND clean up the surrounding areas of the home due to seeing several poisonous snakes including a large COBRA.
(Funny side note)
The 1st Sunday here I could not find any socks so I wore Michaels to church.
We also want to tell you that Pastor Reme Amlon of OneLife Worldwide Ministries passed away from a stroke this month. Please keep the Amlon family and ministry in your prayers.
Again Michael and I both want to say thank you to all who have been praying for us during our move with the change to Agape Ministries.
(Pastor Gilbert Update)
After the special request letter asking for money to help our friend, Pastor Gilbert, who needs to have reconstructive prostate surgery.
We have now raised $1050.00, he needs $2142.00, we are still praying to raise the balance he needs for this much needed surgery. Please consider being part of helping Pastor Gilbert with this urgent need and thank you to all who already gave.
Prayer warriors please pray for:
1. God's guidance & provision in all we do.
2. Amlon Family and ministry
3. Pastor Gilbert funds for surgery
