Happy September to you, 3 months till Christmas
* * We need to start getting ready. * *
After our trip to the US, then having the US mission team come for 10 days, 2 days after we returned, we kept busy for the next 2 weeks.
We cleaned up each of the 5 buildings, doing laundry including all the sheets & towels from the team being here, then prepared the buildings for the next mission team to come.
(Remember we don’t have a dryer so all laundry gets hung on the outside line & it has been raining almost every day starting around 2 p.m.)
We are very happy to announce that while in the US we raised enough money to complete the water project for the One Life Shelter house.
We have made several trips there watching the progress.
So far they have put in all the water lines & holding tanks that now provide water for 2 areas of the muslim village plus the shelter.
They moved the outside kitchen (Filipinos call it the dirty kitchen) and built pillars where the kitchen was to put the shelter holding tank up on a platform.
This makes it possible for the church to expand where the kitchen was.
They also have been approached by more muslims that live down from the shelter who are requesting water from One Life.
The next step is taking the water line that goes to the shelter and putting on a splitter to divide up between the kitchen and bathroom areas.
They will also be putting a water filtering system on the tank.
This month we have also done church visits (one of which our car broke down), women's devotional and a women's conference, a youth meeting, radio broadcasts and also we have fed 3 families in need of food.

- Provision for us to assist more families in need.
- God's guidance & provision in all we do.
- Christmas funds for Children's toys.
- Funds for a clothes dryer.
