I accepted Christ when I was 13 at a revival at an independent Baptist church in Ohio.
I am the only born again believer in my family but God has always been important to me and I would go to church with neighbors and friends.
As an adult I was part of a church for 20 years that helped build churches in Ohio with Buckeye Baptist Builders every summer.
VBS, children’s church, backyard Bible clubs, Sunday school, Mission Friends and Awana was part of my life in Ohio. I have volunteered building homes and painting at shelters.
I moved to Florida in 2004 and became a member of First Baptist Church of Melbourne.
I volunteer for the tech team and work the lights and SingSlides on Sundays as my main ministry with additional times helping out with VBS, Christmas program and children’s festivals.
I joined Florida Southern Baptist Disaster Relief and volunteer cooking meals during disasters (usually after hurricanes).
We have three outdoor kitchen units and can produce up to 30,000 meals a day.
I work as a Realtor which is how I met Michael and Tammy in 2013 and sold them their home.
This income has allowed me to support missionaries that are outside of my denomination that I want to be a part of their ministries.
I recently went to Panama with some of our worship team to minister to a church and had a great weekend of worship with the Panamanian sisters and brothers.
I sing like a frog so I run the SingSlides for the team!
Someday when I get to heaven I hope God gives me a great singing voice!
