Janice Gerler has been married for 57 years and has 3 children. She accepted Christ when she was 10 years old and decided to dedicate her life to be a missionary at the age of eleven. Her parents were Christians but where very protective of her so discouraged her decision to be a missionary. Jancie got married at an early age while still in high school but she never lost the passion in her heart for missions. Because of that passion for missions she decided to support missionaries and did so for many years. Finally, because of this passion, she was able to make her dreams come true and received the oppurtunity to go on her 1st mission trip to Costa Rica. Since this 1st trip she has made several more trips back to Costa Rica and also trips to Guatemala.
Janice keeps very involved in ministry when any opportunity opens like volunteering at a food pantry. She has helpped with Sunday School, has been a Sunday School Superintendent, Teacher, and Secretary. Janice has helped wih Vacation Bible School for years and put together presentations for Christmas and Easter programs for the Church.
Currently Janice is employed as a Nanny, teaches Sunday School, helps in evangelism both with a bread giveaway ministry and also with Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA). She also looks forward to more mission trip opportunities.
